Optical fibers are excellent carrying vast amounts of data over long distances to provide us with high-speed Internet connections, which is why telecoms and ISPs have deployed thousands of miles of cables around U.S. But optical fibers also have a good performance in lighting applications, because they don’t need electricity or generate heat and they look like neon.

After seeing optic fiber lights in action, fashion designer and Instructables user Natalina got inspired and used them to create pieces of clothing. The results were beautifully incredible.
